BUFFALO, N.Y. - When we say "unique," we really mean it with Unique Eats' latest stop. Lucy Ethiopian Restaurant is Buffalo's first Ethiopian restaurant, featuring a dining experience that you've likely never had before.

Be ready to eat with your hands- you won't find any forks or spoons here. Instead, you'll tear up a homemade Ethiopian flatbread called injera and use it to scoop up a wide array of dishes, mostly lentil, lamb, or vegetable-based. And be sure to ask for dishes milder if you aren't the spicy type- many of the dishes pack the heat.

Lucy is named for a 3.2 million year-old human skeleton unearthed in Ethiopia in 1974. It's said that the amazing archaeological find set off a night of drinking and dancing set to repeated playings of the Beatles song "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds."

You'll find Lucy on the corner of Grant and Amherst in Buffalo's Black Rock neighborhood. Park at the Polish Cadets across the street.
