Buffalo, NY -- Local radio station WBLK teamed up with Child and Family Services Saturday at the Lockwood Library for the fourth annual "Christmas for Kids."
The partnership along with members of the community teamed up to fufill the wish lists of 15 children enrolled in foster care and adoption programs across Western New York.
Mary Cornwell, director of Public Relations for Child and Family Services said the event does a great job raising awareness for foster care and family adoption programs.
Santa helped deliver the gifts, while children enjoyed games, refreshments and music during the event.
Cornwell said the event was a success.
"It shows that the community cares and it help them believe in the spirit of the season," Cornwell said. "It also means a lot for our parents because not only are the giving their time and opening their homes and hearts, but it helps them in providing for their children."
