BUFFALO, NY-The weather may not be the greatest this week, but that won't keep diehard duffers from hitting the links now that Erie County golf courses are opening for another season.

Elma Meadows Golf Course opened Wednesday morning and Grover Cleveland will follow on Friday at 7 AM. Rates for the 2011 season remain the same as last.

Season passes range from $210-$420 with special discounts for youth and seniors. Applications are available at the courses, online, or by calling 836-7398. This year, seniors and youth do not need to buy a discount pass to take advantage of special pricing. If you're 16 and under or 62 and older, all you need to do is bring ID to either course Monday through Friday to get your discount.

Tee times are available seven days a week through the county website or by an automated phone system at 858-8585, 24 hours a day for reservations up to a week in advance.
