Orchard Park won the Class AA State Championship and was ranked number one in the State Poll and ranked 7th in the east by USA Today.

Southwestern made it to the Class C state title game before losing to Dobbs Ferry.

Orchard Park, Sweet Home, Alden, Southwestern, Maple Grove, and Chautauqua Lake won Sectional Championships.

Chad Kelly, St. Joe's Sr. QB, was selected the 40th recipient of the Connolly Cup and the Buffalo News Player of the Year.

St. Francis won their sixth Msgr. Martin Championship in the past ten years with a victory over St. Joe's.

Joseph Smith, St. Francis, was selected Msgr. Martin Scholar Athlete of the Year and Albion's Peter Nesbitt was selected Section VI Football Scholar Athlete.

Alden was ranked number 2 in Class B in the final state poll for the second consecutive year.

Devon Leach, Orchard Park, won the Trench Trophy as WNY's Top Lineman of the Year.

Akeel Lynch, St. Francis' RB, was selected as the NYS Gatorade Player of the Year.

Mike Senn, Orchard Park Jr., was selected as the Trench Trophy Underclassman of the Year.

Sweet Home, coached by John Faller, won their fifth consecutive Class A Sectional Title and tied for Orchard Park for their Section VI record.

Chad Kelly, St Joe's Sr. QB, was named Class AA NYS Player of the Year.

34 Section VI Football players made 1st-Team All-State (most of any section in the state).

97 Section VI players made All-State (most of any section in the state).
