Buffalo Bills Coach of the Week

For the sixteenth consecutive year, the Buffalo Bills will co-sponsor a program to support high school football in Western New York by honoring the high school football "Coach of the Week" during the 2012 season. Each week, a varsity football head coach will be selected as a recipient of the Buffalo Bills High School Coach of the Week award with one of those weekly winners being selected as "Coach of the Year."
A selection committee appointed by the Bills will select a head coach from among the 81 high school football programs in Western New York to be designated "Coach of the Week" during the 11 week football campaign which begins August 31st. 
The weekly honoree will receive a 2000 dollar donation to the school's football program from NFL charities and 1,000 dollars from the National Guard. In addition he will receive a framed certificate signed by Bills head coach Chan Gailey.
The 2012 "Coach of the Year" will be honored by the Buffalo Bills at a home game. The winner will also receive a 4,000 dollar check for the school's football program. 
Charlie Comerford, head football coach at Timon/St. Jude was selected week one's Bills Head Coach of the Week for 2012. The Tigers defeated highly ranked Williamsville South in a non league match-up.
