Sleep training can have a positive impact on baby and mom's mental health -- according to a new australian study.
Researchers followed children who were sleep trained as infants. this means around seven months old their parents used special techniques to get them to learn to fall asleep on their own.
They found children and mothers slept better after completing a sleep training program -- and that benefit lasted at least two years.
They also had better mental health than parents and children who had not completed a sleep training program.
