BUFFALO, NY - A dog found emaciated lying on cold pavement last week has been given another chance.

"Metro," the pit bull who was rescued by a rural metro ambulance crew, received a new loving foster home Wednesday night.

Ronnie Podolefsky read about Metro on Facebook and having rescued a dog before, knew right away that Metro would be part a part of her life.  With two dogs at home now, Ronnie says her first job will be to show metro love and potty train her for an eventual adoption.

Metro was found in the parking lot of the Anderson Inner City Animal Hospital.

The two ambulance attendants wrapped her in blankets before finding her some help.
