BUFFALO, NY-- Several streets around the First Niagara Center in downtown Buffalo will be shut down beginning Wednesday so that construction can begin on the HARBORcenter project.

Starting at 7am on Wednesday, a section of Perry Street, between Main and Illinois streets, will be closed to all vehicle traffic, as well as a block of Washington Street, between Perry Street and Scott Street.
Main Street and Scott Street will remain open.
Fans who plan on visiting First Niagara Center should plan on using Michigan Avenue instead of Washington Street. The Buffalo Police Department Traffic Division will be directing traffic during events.
Sidewalks on Perry and Washington Streets will remain open to pedestrians.
If you want to shop at the Sabres Store or visit the First Niagara Center Box Office, you can park in the ramp adjacent to the arena at no charge for a maximum of two hours.
