Police Seek Suspect in First Niagara Bank Robbery

BUFFALO, N.Y. - Buffalo Police are asking for the public's help, after a bank robbery in the city.

The incident happened just before 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at the First Niagara Bank located in the 500 block of Elmwood Avenue near Utica.

Police say the suspect entered the bank, handed the teller a note demanding money and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6'1'', 180 lbs. and wearing a white and blue Yankees baseball cap and shirt.
