EAST AURORA, NY - Robert Vidler, Jr., the man, who with his brother Ed turned a small 5 & 10 store in East Aurora into a huge Western New York staple has died.
Vidler passed away at his home in Ithaca on April 26th, according to The Buffalo News.
Vidler was a Navy Lieutenant during World War II. He was a supply officer aboard a submarine chaser.
He's survived by his brother Ed and two daughters.
Vidler is to be buried with full military honors on July 12th at Sampson Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Romulus, NY.
Robert Vidler, Jr. was 88-years-old.
