Buffalo, NY (June 19th) -- The last day of spring is Thursday so I looked back at the numbers and calculated how Buffalo temperatures and rainfall compared to the averages.

June has been a very wet month so far with rain received at 5.29" which is well above the average at this point (June 19th) of 2.29".

For the astronomical spring (from March 20th until June 21) the rainfall totaled at 13.23" which is well above the average of 9.82", by 3.41" to be exact.

However, the meteorological spring (the months of March, April, and May) rainfall totaled at 8.55" which is below the average of 9.34".

There was also a warmer than average meteorological spring with a mean temperature of 46.87 degrees F, which is above the average mean temperature of 45.6 degrees F.
