GREECE, N.Y. (AP) -- A 45-year-old father of two admits he fatally stabbed his estranged girlfriend and mother of his children.
Andrew Pajek pleaded guilty to second-degree murder Wednesday in the death of Kimberly Feketi of North Tonawanda in Niagara County.
She was killed on Nov. 9, 2008 outside Pajek's home in the Rochester suburb of Greece. She had gone there to pick up their children after a visit with Pajek.
Pajek also stabbed and wounded a neighbor who went to Feketi's aid, then stabbed himself in a suicide attempt.
Pajek's guilty plea came as jury selection was about to conclude in his trial in Monroe County Court. He'll receive a prison term of 20 years to life when Judge Alex Renzi sentences him Oct. 14.
