MSNBC has apologized to its viewers Friday following a prank call they received from someone claiming to be Sabres' goalie Ryan Miller

After Team USA's big victory against Finland, MSNBC host Willie Geist thought he was doing a phone interview with Miller, who is the goaltender for Team USA.

The caller said some, not-so-nice comments about Team Canada and even guaranteed a gold medal for the US.

The network later found out it wasn't Miller and issued an apology.  They then interviewed the real Ryan Miller about the prank.

The apology and actual Ryan Miller interview can be seen on The Huffington Post website.
