KENMORE-A local business owner has taken our Pledge 2 Hang Up and incorporated it into his small business.

Paul Nigro, owner of U.S. Wireless Communications on Highland Parkway, is offering a $20.00 store credit if you sign the Pledge 2 Hang Up in his store. He hopes people will use the credit towards a hands-free headset.

Nigro says he chose to start this initiative because there are so many families in the area and he wants to help keep them safe.

"We have a lot of kids from Kenmore West, Canisius and St. Joe's that come in and buy phones. We don't want to lose anybody," Nigro said. "I have a 16 year-old daughter, and I want to keep her safe too."

And if you're low on cash, Nigro still wants you to be safe. U.S. Wireless Communications is offering a limited number of inexpensive hands-free devices for free if you come in a sign the Pledge 2 Hang Up.
