NIAGARA FALLS, NY - We all know Nik Wallenda will have to wear a harness when he makes his historic walk across Niagara Falls on Friday.
Crews were in Niagara Falls Tuesday testing out the apparatus that will keep Wallenda balanced.
It's called a "truck" and Wallenda's tether will attach to the top of it. It is designed to ride over a set of weighted pendulums which are suspended every 150 feet along the cable in order to keep it from twisting.
That way, it prevents Wallenda from getting hung up on the pendulums.
