Congresswoman Kathy Hochul (D) and her Republican challenger Chris Collins spent Friday campaigning east of Buffalo in Albion and Batavia respectively.
Canisius College professor Dr. Michael Haselswerdt says, "at this point, in terms of pulling votes, that's the part of the campaign we don't see. The phone banking, a little bit of canvassing. Getting out and trying to determine and getting list of people who will support you. So you're not going randomly at this point. You're going to target people who have indicated some level of support for you."
He also says at this point, both candidates need to remain visible.
Plus, you still have four more days to deal with all the negative ads you see and hear. Haselswerdt says they work, "I don't think it will turns voters off."
