Wrong Way Driver on Thruway Charged with DWI

LACKAWANNA, N.Y. - State Police arrested a woman for Felony DWI after she was stopped for driving the wrong way on the Thruway Saturday morning.

Troopers say they arrested 29-year-old Jena Seneca, of West Seneca, for 1st Degree Reckless Endangerment and Felony DWI after she was found driving eastbound in the westbound lanes just before the Lackawanna toll booths.

Police added that while she was driving the wrong way for aproximately five miles, Seneca caused two property damage accidents on I-90 westbound.

State Police say Seneca was processed at the State Police Buffalo station and arraigned in Town of Hamburg Court.

Troopers added that Seneca had a prior DWI conviction back in 2007.
