BUFFALO, NY-- The Buffalo Bills stadium lease deal is just about complete.

On Tuesday, the Erie County Stadium Corporation completed the Bills' approval deal.

Now, all that remains is the Empire State Development's approval set for Wednesday and the Erie County Legislature votes on Thursday.

Once those two bodies approve the deal, construction can officially begin.

Deputy Erie County Executive Richard Tobe says this is a great deal for the area as the personal income tax collected by the players and the front office exceeds the cost of renovations.

"This is a good deal for everyone," says Tobe.  "It's financially responsible, Bills are putting up one third and paying rent, so team and state are committed and the county is too. It's a bargain for us all."

Some minor stadium changes will begin this year, but the major changes will begin January 2014. The NFL owners gave their approval to the lease deal Monday night.
