BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Women and Children's Hospital will soon be empty and talk continues about what to do with it.
The hospital, which is currently on Bryant Street on Buffalo's west side, will move to the medical campus by 2016.
Kaleida Health organized a meeting Tuesday night with neighbors and others in the community about the reuse process, which began late last year.
The big question: is anyone or any group interested in the building?
"There's been some interest, both at the hospital site as well as some of the parking facilities that we have around the campus. So there's been some lukewarm interest, but again, we're still three years away from moving, so it's early in the process," said Kaleida spokesperson Michael Hughes.
Hughes adds that Kaleida is starting the reuse process early so that when the move happens a solid plan will hopefully be in place.
