BUFFALO, N.Y. -- A show of support for Governor Andrew Cuomo's push to get the Peace Bridge project moving.

The Western New York State Legislative Delegation and Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz sent letters to Cuomo, saying they're behind his efforts to get a new U.S. Plaza and companion bridge built.

The project has been talked about for years and numerous improvements have been made to the Canadian bridge plaza.

A top Cuomo aide recently wrote a letter to the Canadian Minister of Transportation, saying that the U.S. delegation has lost confidence in Ron Reinas, the manager of the bi-national Peace Bridge Authority.
