BUFFALO, NY - Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown and Police Commissioner Daniel Derenda announced a new safety measure to help control the speed on Parkside in North Buffalo.
The city activated two radar speed signs on Parkside near Jewitt to help curb speeding along Parkside Avenue near Delaware Park.
The signs will display the speed of approaching vehicles. The speed limit on Parkside Avenue is 30 mph.
Mayor Brown says complaints from residents of motorists speeding in the area prompted the purchase of the signs.
