BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The FBI has billboards up across Western New York asking for information leading to an arrest of some bombing suspects.
The three are responsible for three attacks including one that took place in 2008 outside an army recruitment office in New York City. The special agent in charge of Buffalo's FBI office is explaining why they are reaching out to people here.
"Basically, we've been canvassing over the east coast, reaching out through the billboard campaign as well as a press release that went out yesterday. There was a notification that there was a $65,000 reward," said Richard Frankel.
The 2008 bombing at the recruitment office in Times Square involved a man on a bike who placed an ammunition can outside the recruitment office. No one was hurt. But there were people nearby who could have been.
