BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The decision to demolish St. Ann's Church on Buffalo's East side is final.

That's according to a spokesperson for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Buffalo.

Kevin Keenan says conservative estimates for repair of the church are at $8 million to $12 million dollars, well beyond the parish's resources.

The Shrine of St. Ann will be moved to another sacred space while the parish decides what to do with other religious items that can be saved.
