WHEATFIELD, NY - Niagara County Sheriff's Office deputies are looking for two suspects in an armed robbery that took place at Matty's, 3819 Forest Parkway, in the Town of Wheatfield, Friday night just after 11:30 p.m.
They say a black male about 6'0" with a large build, wearing a gray hoodie, a baseball cap, dark blue pants and black sneakers threatened a clerk with a handgun, which wasn't shown, forcing the clerk to the ground, as he stole cash and cigarettes.
A second person of interest in the case is described as a light-complexioned black male, about 6'5", heavy set, bald, with a mustache, wearing a blue shirt, jean shorts and white sneakers.
The suspect's vehicle is believed to be a black SUV, possibly a Chevrolet, bearing a new style, yellow New York state license plate.
