Frost Advisory for Cattaraugus & Allegany Counties

BUFFALO, NY - Frost Advisory continues for Cattaraugus and Allegany counties from 3am to 8am early Wednesday morning, and for McKean county from 2am to 10am Wednesday.

Temperatures will once again drop to the mid to lower 30s and frost will damage tender vegetation that is left unprotected.

The advisory was issued by the National Weather Service in Buffalo on Tuesday afternoon.

Temperatures will be coldest in the normally colder interior portions of the counties, according to the weather service.

A frost advisory is issued when frost is expected to develop during the growing season.
