NEWSTEAD, NY - For the Seventh straight year local radio station Kiss 98.5 hosted a pumpkin drop at the Great Pumpkin Farm in Clarence.
The eight hundred pound pumpkin is filled, along with its pumpkin guts, with tokens redeemable for prizes.
Top prize this year was a two person canoe.
The giant jack o' lantern was dropped from a height of fifty feet.
Contestants then scrambled through the pumpkin goo to claim their token.
As Channel Two Photojournalist Dooley O'Rourke discovered, a little pumpkin karma goes a long way.
