PEMBROKE, NY-- The Genesee County Sheriff's Office is investigating an accident where a car hit a house in Pembroke.
The accident happened on Akron Road just after 7pm Tuesday.
Investigators say Jason M. Purdy, 34, of the Town of Alabama, was driving on Marble Road when he came to a T-intersection at Akron Road, crossing Akron Road and drove right through the home and into the backyard.
A couple and their two children were in the house at the time, but were not hurt.
Purdy was taken to ECMC. His condition is unknown.
Police believe alcohol may have played a role in the accident. However, no charges had been filed against the driver at this time.
