Fort Collins, CO (Sports Network) - Wes Eikmeier led the way with 21 points,
as the Colorado State Rams defeated the St. Bonaventure Bonnies in a non-
conference matchup at Moby Arena.
For the Rams (13-2), Dorian Green added 19 points, Colton Iverson posted a
double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds and Pierce Hornung pulled down 13
St. Bonaventure (7-6) was led by Matthew Wright with 12 points, while Charlon
Kloof and Chris Johnson each chipped in with 10 points.
The Rams took a 46-28 advantage into intermission by connecting on 56.7
percent of their field goal attempts, including 6-of-11 from 3-point distance.
The Bonnies had no such success from the floor, shooting just 29.6 percent,
though they did hit on 4-of-10 from beyond the 3-point arc in the first half.
The Rams put the Bonnies in the early hole by opening the game on a 19-2 run.
Colorado State continued to shoot the ball well after halftime, making 48
percent of its field goal attempts, though the Rams did miss all five of their
3-point attempts. St. Bonaventure's shooting improved somewhat, though its
38.9 percent from the field wasn't enough to catch up to the Rams, who won
their seventh straight.
The Rams owned the paint, outscoring the Bonnies 42-20 down low. The Bonnies
were able to score 18 points off of 11 Ram turnovers.
