Panama Panthers

Head Coach: Chris Payne 68-69-0 (16 years)
Assistant coaches: Ed Nelson, Bill Schneider, Doug Hosier
2011 Varsity Record: 5-3-0
Starters Returning: Offense: 5 Defense: 5
Key Players: Robbie Benson, Alec Blose, Devin Ireland, Tanner Propheter, Tony Paterniti, Tyce Schneider, Dustin Smouse, Kelvin Eddy, Stephen Enlow, Tony Franklin, Jacob Short, Eric Schutt, Ricky Eddy
Key Losses: Nick Lenart, Dylan Stow, Andrea Marsh, Tyler Marsh
2011 JV Record: 7-1-0

Panthers return 5 on both sides of the ball and look to improve their 5-3-0 record of last season under their 17 year coach, Chris Payne. Look for the team to go as far as senior RB/LB Robbie Benson and company will take them. The loss of several quality starters will prove to be an obstacle, but helping the cause is the JV squad, which posted a 7-1 record in 2011. It shouldn't be a surprise if Panama challenges for the league title.

Clymer Pirates

Head Coach: Dave Bodamer (1st year)
Assistant Coaches: Dan White, Bob Newton, Scott Neckers, Dave Bodamer
2011 Varsity Record: 5-4-0
Starters Returning: Offense 7 Defense 7
Key Players: Dan Lictus, Tom Helser, Jake Wiggers, Connor Payne
Key Losses: Ryan Phelps

Pirates return 7 on both sides of the ball, including defensive terror Dan Lictus, an early favorite to lead the league in sacks. Coach Mark Heiser and his squad will try and improve their 5-4- record last season. Consistency and stability on both sides of the ball should help, as Clymer returns a majority of last year's improving team. It is quite possible that the Pirates could return to the championship game for the 2nd consecutive year.

Sherman Wildcats

Head Coach: Bob Krenzer 181-104-0 (34 years)
Assistant Coaches: Andy Lyon, Andy Krenzer, Ty Harper, Cory Emery
2011 Varsity record: 7-3-0
Starters returning: Offense 7 Defense 6
Key Players: Trevor Enterline, Andrew Graham, Devin Moorehead, Jacob Toy
Key Losses: Cody Graczyk, Zack Starceski, Kyle Keith
2011 JV record: 3-5-0

Wildcats bring back 13 starters from last year's 7-3-0 squad. Coach Bob Krenzer will rely on defensive standout Trevor Enterline, Andrew Graham, Devin Moorehead, Jacob Toy and company to give opposing offensives fits and improve on their impressive 2011 campaign. Expect Sherman to be a major player in the fight for the league title.

Ellicottville/West Valley Eagles

Head Coach: Tim Began (153-89-1) 27 years
Assistant Coaches: Chris Mendell, Keith Young
2011 Varsity record: 4-4-0
Starters Returning: Offense 4 Defense 5
Key Players: Dylan Paprocki, Peter Gabel, Fletcher Macomb, Jake Rinko
Key Losses: Zak Fisher, Jeff Brennan

Eagles return 9 starters from last year's 4-4-0 squad. Coach Tim Bergan will look to get back to winning ways, with Dylan Paprocki, Peter Gabel, Fletcher Macomb and Jake Rinko leading the charge. Look for Ellicottville/West Valley to be competitive again in 2012.

Franklinville Panthers

Head Coach: Mark Blecha (38-60-0) 12 years
Assistant Coaches: Scott Palmatier, Allan Dunlap, Jon Arbegast
2011 Varsity record: 4-5-0
Starters Returning: Offense 7 Defense 9
Key Players: Carl Ratzel, Peter Kopp, Eric Michaelis, Brandon Dutton, Trent Dingman, Jamie Greiner, Christian Bigham, Dean Cole, Matt Bacher, Nick Krzeminksi
Key Losses: Don Kopp
2011 JV Record: 1-6

Panthers and Coach Mark Blecha look to increase the win column of last year's 4-5-0 campaign, led by dynamic duo Peter Kopp and Jamie Greiner. The two will look to provide the defensive anchor for Franklinville as well as an offensive spark. Panthers returns 16 starters from 2011, and with such a high number of starters returning, the Panthers will look to take advantage and be competitive against the league's best.

Forestville Hornets

Head Coach: Scot Greenough (66-66-0) 16 years
Assistant Coaches: Greg Greenough, Ralph Jackson
2011 Varsity record: 1-7-0
Starters returning: Offense 4 Defense 4
Key Players: Nate Maines, Adam Pleva, Jake Noshbisch, Cody Jackson
Key Losses: Joe Caccamise

Hornets return 8 starters from last year's 1-7-0 squad and will look to add more wins in Coach Scot Greenough 17th season. Led by the ground and pound of RB Nate Maines and OL Cody Jackson, Forestville will try to rectify their disappointing 2011 season.

Pine Valley Panthers

Head Coach: Chris Buczek (15-28-0) 5 years
Assistant Coaches: Jacob Cuthbert
2011 varsity record: 0-8-0
Starters Returning : Offense 2 Defense 2
Key Players: Josh Kilburn, Jacob Wilcox, Michael Isula, Dakota Ulmer, Dan Weaver
Key Losses: Robert McKeever, Connor Smith
2011 JV Record: 4-4-0

Panthers return only 4 starters from last year's 0-8-0 squad, but will look to enter the win column and capture their elusive first win in two years. Led by Josh Kilburn, 1,000 yard rushing candidate, Coach Buczek's squad will look to improve its disappointing 2011 campaign. The Panthers JV team, 4-4-0 in 2011, should provide some assistance.
