Frontier (6-2) vs. Jamestown (7-1)

This is a re-match with Frontier coming from behind in the 2nd half to defeat Jamestown 35-28. The Falcons have won 4 in a row, including their first playoff win since 1984 over Niagara Falls. They have quality players in Ben Koch, Cameron Coon, Ricky Fitzgerald, Kyle Hamilton and Nick King, who is an All-WNY Candidate at Linebacker.
Jamestown has regrouped after a loss to the Falcons with a win over Orchard Park, Clarence, and Hutch-Tech. Jake Sisson, Jr. QB, has gotten better every game and is an impact player both running and passing.
Da'Quan Hollingsworth can take it to the house any time. The Jr. RB has scored 19 TDs. Mike Watson is an unsung player. Zach Panebianco is one of the most versatile players in WNY and is only a sophomore. Cortland Haines and John Czech are excellent linemen.

FORECAST:

Tim Myslinki and Tom Langworthy have done excellent coaching jobs this season. Both teams have outstanding talent and chemistry. This game is a toss-up, but I'm giving the edge to the Red Raiders playing at home.

KEYS TO VICTORY:

Jamestown has to avoid penalties and turnovers, while Frontier needs to control the ball.

PREDICTION: Jamestown - 28, Frontier - 21

Orchard Park (7-1) @ Lockport (6-2)

This is another re-match with the Quakers defeating the Lions 42-21 in week one. Quakers have explosive talent in Ben Holmes, Austin Goltz, Mitch Wilson, Ralph Pagliet and Jeff Modkins on offense. Mike Senn anchors the line and Connor Eddy is a tackling machine.
The Quakers average 40 points per game.
The Lions had a huge comeback victory over Clarence in the Quarterfinals. Dan Bronson and James Chambers lead the offense and Moziah Townsend leads the defense.
Khari Demos and Tom Furlong anchor the line. Greg Bronson has done and outstanding job coaching this season. The Lions have excellent chemistry and Chambers is one of the top RBs in the state. Kyle Few, Sr. K, could have a huge impact.

KEYS TO VICTORY:

Orchard Park needs to prevent big plays by Chambers, while Lockport needs to control the clock and avoid turnovers.
The Lions need to limit Mitch Wilson's rushing yardage as the Sr. RB was the difference maker in the first game.
Orchard Park should win if the Quakers come to play and avoid turnovers. Ben Holmes' passing and rushing should be the difference maker.

PREDICTION: Orchard Park - 38, Lockport - 20
