Luke Tasker, former St. Francis All-WNY and All-State Alumni, caught 75 passes for 1,207 yards and 8 TDs. The Senior at Cornell ended his career with 2,482 yards in receptions and made first team All-Ivy at receiver. Tasker this season ranked 9th in the nation in receptions per game (7.5), 4th in receiving yards per game (120.7), and 34th in all-purpose yardage.

Mike McFadden has resigned his position as Head Coach at Hamburg.

Chuck Kowalsi has resigned his Head Coaching position at Lake Shore.

Nick Borgese, St. Francis Alumni, is the kicker for Rutgers as a red-shirt freshman.

For the class of 2013, Ryan Hunter, Canisius lineman, is the only WNY football player to receive a scholarship from a Division I/AA program. The Crusader will attend Bowling Green in the MAC Conference.

2012 Underclassman Lineman of the Year Award for large schools goes to Adam Belica of Orchard Park. For small schools, Erik Feitshans of Alden has been awarded.

Ryan Hunter, Canisius' 6'5, 315 lb. lineman was selected the 1-th recipient of the Trench Trophy which is awarded by the Trench Committee to the top WNY lineman.  In winning the prestigious award over 9 other finalists, the Senior became the second Crusader to win the trophy as John Urscher (he won in 2008).
Hunter earned All-League and All-WNY honors and was selected by the Buffalo News as Co-Player of the Year. He will attend Bowling Green on a football scholarship.
