Large Schools

  1. Jamestown (9-0) Red Raiders ended Blue Devils win streak behind Jake Sisson's 7 tds to earn berth in AA championship for third consecutive year.
  2. Sweet Home (9-0) Panthers keep rolling earning a trip to the Ralph for the 7th consecutive year. Win streak against section VI opponents now at an unbelievable 69 games.
  3. Canisius (7-2) Crusaders defense dominated Marauders earning 1st seed in playoffs. Only allowed 36 pts in 9 games.
  4. Frontier (7-2) Falcons came to play on a muddy field and dominated the Quakers. Now get ready for the pass happy Red Raiders.
  5. Williamsville North (6-3) Spartan surprised in Class A reaching title game for the first time ever. Defense has played lights out in playoffs led by, Zac Kelly, Duke Buang, Nick and Jake Ames and George Attea.
  6. St. Joes (6-3) Offense stuck in neutral on a rainy day without Rod Payne and without Nigel Davis being at 100 %. Could have rematch with Crusaders for MSGR Martin title game @ stadium.
  7. Kenmore West (6-3) Blue Devils had solid year and congrats to Rich Harris, coaches and players for making it to the semi-finals.
  8. South Park (7-2) Sparks will be back next year. Tim Delaney did super job this year.
  9. West Seneca East (7-2) Trojans are 16-3 past 2 seasons
  10. Grand Island (7-2) Vikings despite several season ending injuries to key players had an excellent season.

Small Schools

  1. Alden (9-0) Bulldogs win over Burgard is 39th consecutive win over section VI opponents. Earned 5th consecutive trip to Ralph.
  2. Randolph (9-0) The Cardinal machine keeps rolling with its 19th consecutive win. Will make 14th appearance in title game.
  3. Fredonia (9-0) McCarthy and Ley are nightmares for opponents. The JR RB has scored 30 tds. Earned rematch at Stadium with Cleveland Hill.
  4. Cleveland Hill (9-0) Glen Graham has Golden Eagles flying to the Ralph for the 3rd consecutive year.
  5. Burgard (7-2) lost heartbreaker to Alden. 2 losses by 11pts hurts. Bulldogs came of age this season and will be a force for years to come.
  6. Depew (7-2) Brian Wilson has done excellent job with playoff wins over Bennett and Eden. Face rematch with Alden at Stadium.
  7. Cheektowaga (6-2) Warriors are 16-3 past 2 yrs. Mike Fatta and staff do excellent job.
  8. Akron (6-3) Lauricella should be a Connolly Cup finalist.
  9. Maple Grove (7-1) Had comeback win over Portville. Have tough matchup against Cardinals at Stadium.
  10. Lackawanna Steelers led by Smith and Gregoire
  11. Eden Raiders, Smythe deserves to be finalist for the Connolly Cup.
