Record Watch: Jake Sisson, Jamestown

The Senior Quarterback moved into 2nd place with 2,871 passing yards in a season, passing Joe Licata (former Williamsville South QB). The Senior needs 190 yards to pass the current record held by St. Joe's Chad Kelly (who threw for 3,050 yards in 2011). Sisson is the 14th QB to throw for 2000 yards in a season. He needs 5 TD passes to set a new mark for TD passes in a season.

Zack Panebianco, Jamestown's QB, needs 194 yards receiving to break the All-WNY record of 1,182 yards in a season, held by Alex Neutz of Grand Island and now playing for the University at Buffalo.

Unbeaten Teams: Jamestown, Cleveland Hill, Randolph

Congratulations to Sweet Home's JV RB Jonathan Phillips, who rushed for 1,015 yards this season for the 7-2 Panthers.

Amazing: Hornell, who lost in the Classic Championship game last year and ending a 52-game win streak (including 3 State Titles), has a record of 1-7 for 2013.

Alec Dietsch, former Clarence All-WNY Player is starting as a Freshman at LB for St. Lawrence University.

WNY Officials Assn Awards:
Don Burns 20-year Service Awards: Dan Colpoys, Jim DiMartino, Ken Harris, Wayne Hill, Brian Madej, Jim Martek

John D. Burns Memorial Award: Paul Trzybinski

Buffalo Bills RBs Tashard Choice and Fred Jackson recently addressed students at Nichols school on making the right decisions.

Why didn't Williamsville East, Cheektowaga, McKinley and few other schools schedule a 9th game?

Orchard Park has lost 4 of its last 10 games. Can't understand why 3 coaches who helped win State Titles are no longer coaching the Varsity. Bob and Steve Ferrentino were relegated to coaching Freshman while Wil Theil was forced out and now coaches at Dunkirk.

John Schmitt, St. Joe's Sr., received the student-athlete award as part of the 10th Anniversary of the great American rivalry series presented by the US Marine Corps and Hibbett sporting goods. The Senior was honored prior to the Canisius game for outstanding academic and athletic performance.

Worst lights: Alden school district needs to purchase new poles and lights, otherwise it is an accident waiting to happen.

Top Tacklers at Cleveland Hill:
Josh White, Wayne Jones, Keon Crawford, Khammari Derby, Brandon Thomas

Can you imagine a game with Jamestown's offense vs. Canisius' defense?!?
