ORCHARD PARK, N.Y.-Bills wide reciever Stevie Johnson did some light work on the field during Friday's Organized Team Activity.
According to the team's webiste, www.buffalobills.com Johnson caught some passes and ran some routes at half speed. He is recovering from off season groin surgery. There is no word on how much closer the Bills top wideout is team being able to practice fully with his teammates.
With the season rapidly approaching the fan base has been energized by the team's off season moves. So have the players who can see the difference in the team on the field during the OTA's. However, veteran safety George Wilson told Two On Your Side's Stu Boyar Friday that while things are looking up what happens right now doesn't matter much. "We have depth at all positions now and experienced depth as well so but at the end of the day its only on paper right now. Its up to us as players to take advantage of the opportunities we get and to also transition it from paper to the playing field."
Next week there will be four sessions of Organized Team Activity. In two weeks the Bills have their mandatory minicamp.
