ORCHARD PARK, NY-- The Buffalo Bills newest member was introduced to the Buffalo media on Friday.
EJ Manuel was picked by the Bills in Thursday's NFL Draft 16th overall after a trade with the St. Louis Rams.
Manuel threw for 3,392 yards and 23 touchdowns in his senior season with the Seminoles.
Manuel, who played quarterback for Florida State University, says it hasn't sunk in yet, and that he is happy to be a Buffalo Bill. "This is a dream come true," Manuel told the media.
Manuel says he expects to come in and earn the respect of his teammates.
Manuel also talked about another Bills-great who was instrumental in his football career. "I met Bruce Smith when I was a kid. He's been very pivotal in my process going from high school to college and college to NFL."
