ORCHARD PARK, N.Y.- EJ Manuel may have grabbed the headlines thus far, but a different pair of Bills rookies had big performances against the Ravens.
LB Kiko Alonso had five tackles, two deflected passes and two interceptions, the second of which sealed the game for the Bills.
WR Robert Woods had what could be considered a breakout game. He more than doubled his receiving totals with four catches for 80 yards. He also caught his career first touchdown.
"Coming in as rookies we're just trying to get better and grow each game. Each game is a learning experience," said Woods
Despite the success of the rookies Alonso maintained that everyone played a role in the victory.
"It wasn't just the rookies, it was a team effort. But the rookies are out there, just like everyone else, play our hardest. We're just all trying to make plays," said Alonso.
Through four games Alonso has 27 tackles, one sack, one forced fumble and two interceptions.
