ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. - Thad Lewis was seen after Sunday's game leaving field with a walking boot on his left foot. "I actually don't recall the play that it happened, I just knew it got sore through the game," said Lewis.
Lewis says that as a precaution the team had X-Rays done on the foot and they came back negative. Lewis said, "We checked it out, I should be fine, we did the tests on it, I should be fine. That's a great sign."
That is good news for Lewis and the Bills. Not only is he coming off a very respectable Buffalo Bills debut appearance (19/32, 216 yards, 2 TD, 3-yard TD run), but the Bills already have two quarterbacks injured.
Lewis rode the stationary bike throughout the game to make sure his foot did not stiffen up. It seemed to work, his two touchdown passes came in the fourth quarter.
