NEW ORLEANS, L.A.- Five of Buffalo's previous seven games were decided by three points or less. Week 8 was not so close for the Bills.

Saints quarterback Drew Brees dropped 332 yards and 5 touchdowns en route to a 35-17 win.

Brees was sacked four times and faced constant pressure from the Bills defense, but the seasoned quarterback avoided pressure in timely moments, including a 42-yard touchdown pass to Kenny Stills in the fourth quarter to seal the win.

Buffalo's offense produced 17 points but it was unable to string together a consistent line of success.

Quarterback Thad Lewis fumbled on his first offensive play, one of his three turnovers for the game. Lewis tossed for 234 yards and a touchdown, but overthrows and turnovers were too costly.

The Bills fall to 3-5 and host the undefeated 8-0 Kansas City Chiefs next Sunday.
