Dallas, TX (Sports Network) - Erik Cole, Jamie Benn and Cody Eakin tallied in
the third period, as the Dallas Stars ended the Minnesota Wild's seven-game
win streak with a 5-3 decision at American Airlines Center.
Ray Whitney and Tomas Vincour also scored for the Stars, who won their fourth
game in six thanks to three power-play strikes.
Kari Lehtonen made 30 saves for the victory, as Dallas avenged a 7-4 loss
to Minnesota at home on Monday.
Jaromir Jagr added a helper to reach 1,000 assists becoming the
12th player in NHL history to attain that milestone.
Devin Setoguchi and Jared Spurgeon provided offense for the Wild, who hadn't
dropped a road decision since a 5-3 setback in Chicago on March 5.
Matt Hackett surrendered all five scores on 33 shots, including three on just
five shots in the final 20 minutes.
