Calgary, AB (Sports Network) - Vinny Prospal, R.J. Umberger and Mark Letestu
each posted a goal and an assist to lead the Columbus Blue Jackets in a 6-4
win over the Calgary Flames on Friday.
Matt Calvert, Derick Brassard and Ryan Johansen each had a goal for the Blue
Jackets, who snapped a three-game slide to finish a four-game road trip with a
1-2-1 mark. Steve Mason posted 29 saves in the win.
Dennis Wideman, Curtis Glencross, Brian McGrattan and Mikael Backlund all
scored for the Flames, who fell for the fifth time in seven games and were
playing their first contest since trading former captain Jarome Iginla.
On Wednesday night, Calgary traded the 35-year-old Iginla to Pittsburgh for a
pair of college forwards and the Penguins' first-round draft pick in 2013.
Miikka Kiprusoff was pulled after two periods for surrendering five goals on
20 shots. Joey McDonald stopped all four shots he faced in the third as the
Flames had an eight-game home winning streak snapped.
